Eric Johannessen, Creative Director/Owner of "Head Elf" and "Creative Director", loves Christmas, his family and creating memories for a lifetime. In 2011, Eric Johannessen decorated his Winter Park home for Christmas to create lasting memories for his children. In 2016, his desire to make his decorations bigger and brighter each year led him to create a display that was so large and bright it was featured on ABC's "The Great Christmas Light Fight". Today Eric and his family host over 250,000 visitors to his home each season, making it one of the biggest and best light displays in Central Florida.

Taking his passion for Christmas lights to the community was a natural progression. Johannessen Lights began as a charitable home display and has grown to include hundreds of homes, HOAs, businesses, and communities in Central Florida.

Eric Johannessen, his design team and their holiday light installation are not your average installers.
